About the Teacher:
I am a 2007 graduate from West Point High School. After completing two years at Wallace State Community College, I attended Athens State University. There I received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in secondary education. This fall I will begin working towards my Masters in biology education at University of West Alabama. Hanceville High School is my first teaching job, in which, I took over in February 2012. I am excited to be back for the 2012-2013 school year.
Mission for the Class:
Education plays a vital role in a fundamental foundation for a global future. Due to a fast pace society, it has become important to educate and prepare students to cope with change and advancement in technology. Education is not only teaching a required curriculum, but also, serves as a basis for teaching the student responsibility, discipline, self-control, and character so he or she will choose a career that will benefit society.
